IAM Technical Architect, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and consistently enhance the overall IAM/IGA architecture.

• Formulate technical solution concepts and establish integration strategies for IAM/IGA ecosystems.

• Ensure a unified and scalable end-to-end architecture across all identity-related services and platforms.

• Create interfaces and integration mechanisms between IAM/IGA solutions and associated enterprise applications.

• Recognize architectural risks, dependencies, technical limitations, and mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with architectural standards, security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry benchmarks, including ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, and KRITIS.

• Collaborate with client-side architects, security specialists, and technical teams to influence architectural decisions.

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction throughout the complete solution lifecycle.

• Support governance processes and maintain architectural coherence across the program.

• Evaluate solution designs and suggest enhancements aligned with security and compliance mandates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in IAM, IGA, cybersecurity architecture, or related security fields.

• Demonstrated expertise in designing comprehensive IAM/IGA architectures within enterprise settings.

• Experience in delivering and designing at least five implementations of IAM/IGA architecture.

• Strong grasp of IAM/IGA integration concepts, interface architecture, and system interoperability.

• Background in working within highly regulated industries and compliance-oriented environments.

• In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, and KRITIS.

• Experience in identifying and managing technical risks, dependencies, and architectural hurdles.

• Excellent analytical, architectural, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience collaborating with various technical stakeholder groups in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Fluent in German (C1/C2 level) required for project delivery and client interactions.

• Background in the energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure sectors.

• Previous experience in KRITIS-regulated environments.

• Consulting experience within complex IAM/IGA transformation or implementation projects.

• Involvement in large-scale identity modernization initiatives.

• Familiarity with cloud-based IAM ecosystems and hybrid identity architectures.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools in daily workflows.
