This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with international pharmaceutical organizations.
• Drive commercial strategy and business development across specified global pharmaceutical accounts.
• Create and implement account plans, mapping, and engagement strategies.
• Identify, shape, and secure large-scale, multi-year opportunities for Olink proteomics and biomarker discovery solutions.
• Synchronize global account strategies with regional execution teams to boost revenue growth.
• Facilitate coordinated engagement among field sales, application support, and global teams.
• Align internal stakeholders on priorities, messaging, and execution despite not having direct reporting authority.
• Convert customer requirements into business opportunities with commercial, medical/scientific, and product teams.
• Present scientific and strategic information to global pharmaceutical stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Offer guidance on study design, biomarker strategy, and applications of proteomics.
• Identify and cultivate new opportunities within current global pharmaceutical relationships.
• Navigate intricate procurement and decision-making processes.
• Maintain visibility of the pipeline and forecasting in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Train, mentor, and enhance skills of field sales teams on global pharmaceutical accounts, stakeholder mapping, engagement strategies, and value-based selling.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and coach to enhance field effectiveness.
• Assist in joint customer meetings and elevate strategic discussions.
• Convey market trends, customer insights, and unmet needs to Product, Marketing, and R&D.
• Collaborate with project management and operations to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in biotech/pharma.
• Strong commercial experience, particularly in strategic accounts or key account management, is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in managing global or enterprise-level pharmaceutical accounts.
• Experience working within a matrixed organization with overlay responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of proteomics, biomarker discovery, or translational research is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth within complex global accounts.
• Expertise in account mapping, stakeholder engagement, and long-cycle deal management.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and communicate value drivers.
• Capacity to lead through influence within a matrixed organization.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
• Executive presence and experience in engaging senior pharmaceutical leadership.
• Proven ability to coach and develop field sales teams.
• Proficient in translating complex scientific and strategic concepts into actionable guidance for commercial teams.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify intricate scientific concepts.
• Comfortable engaging in in-depth scientific discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
