Senior Java Engineer – WildFly, AI-Augmented Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design and execute new features and solutions that align with business needs.

• Enhance current Java applications while identifying and addressing technical challenges.

• Utilize AI development tools to boost development speed and efficiency.

• Engage with databases, messaging systems, containers, virtual machines, and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams throughout the solution delivery process.

• Offer technical insights to project and sales teams as required.

• Improve existing Java applications while also developing new functionalities based on changing business demands.

• Work closely with the client and broader team across databases, messaging systems, application servers, containers, and infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Java development.

• Strong practical experience with WildFly, JBoss, or similar Java application servers.

• Robust knowledge of ORM technologies, including Hibernate and JPA.

• Familiarity with RabbitMQ and other messaging or streaming technologies.

• Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.

• Solid understanding of containers, virtual machines, and infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as AWS Kiro.

• A proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative attitude.

• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe on an annual basis.

• Proficient English communication skills.
