Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Albania.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain robust backend applications utilizing Java (version 11 or higher).

• Design, implement, and enhance RESTful APIs.

• Adhere to software engineering best practices, encompassing automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.

• Perform technical analyses and recommend scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, Frontend, and DevOps.

• Identify and resolve bugs while continuously enhancing the system.

• Actively engage in architectural decisions and technical planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

• Proficiency in Git version control.

• Excellent analytical skills, proactive attitude, and effective communication abilities.

• Proficient in technical English (reading and writing); conversational English is an advantage.

• Java certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer, or relevant specialized courses are advantageous.

• Solid experience with Java and frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.

• Prior experience with distributed systems, microservices, or high-traffic applications.

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).

• Knowledge of messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is preferred.
