Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a key support for management, offering technical assistance to the team to ensure timely delivery and architectural excellence.

• Oversee the maintenance and improvement of legacy systems (Java 7 and 8), guaranteeing that the existing processing engine remains efficient and secure.

• Engage actively in the migration from legacy systems to contemporary cloud architectures by creating new services utilizing Java 21, Spring Boot 3, and gRPC.

• Develop, optimize, and sustain intricate business logic using SQL and PL/SQL (Procedures, Triggers, Packages).

• Ensure the quality of deliverables through automation, conducting code reviews, and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline, while collaborating within Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).

• Implement and document business rules pertinent to the credit card processing sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Java 7 and 8, with an understanding of the limitations and maintenance needs of monolithic systems.

• Strong expertise in Spring Boot 3, microservices architecture, and contemporary Java (17/21).

• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, emphasizing performance and data integrity.

• Technical leadership capabilities to mentor the team, a collaborative approach to sharing knowledge, and a focus on achieving results.
