Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and solve technical issues.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery schedule planning.

• Collaborate with colleagues and interact with Project Stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage processes, including incident evaluation and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD methodologies.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of tailored software solutions.

• Work on a tax administration system that involves tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient in Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Strong grasp of testing principles.

• Capable of confidently communicating in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous.
