Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.

• Actively collaborate with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Provide technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes.

• Design and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology service provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that includes tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive knowledge of Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging technologies (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a bonus.
