Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design guidelines

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Execute unit tests for software components

• Engage in estimating project resources and timelines for delivery

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in the optimization and support of CI/CD processes

• Design and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology client

• Play a role in a tax administration system that processes tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and integrates with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Proficient in the Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies

• Proficient communication skills in English

• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is an advantage
