Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.

• Collaborate with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, encompassing incident analysis and prioritization.

• Support and enhance CI/CD processes.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of customized software solutions.

• Work on a tax administration system that involves tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong expertise in Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Proficient in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is an advantage.
