Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and thorough testing

• Identify and resolve issues effectively

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery

• Collaborate with team members and communicate with project stakeholders to facilitate efficient and predictable project outcomes

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Design and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector client

• Assist in the development of a tax administration system encompassing tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS)

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ)

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Strong ability to communicate in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
