Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Actively collaborate with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, which include incident analysis and prioritization.

• Facilitate and enhance CI/CD processes.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of tailored software solutions.

• Work on a tax administration system which encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient in Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Background in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Capable of communicating confidently in English.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous.
