Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a prominent European public-sector client.

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues as they arise.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.

• Support and enhance CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to a tax administration platform that includes tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integrations with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong proficiency with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containers, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous.
