Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in line with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Provide technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in incident analysis and prioritization activities

• Support and enhance CI/CD processes

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant public-sector client in Europe

• Contribute to a tax administration system that handles tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS)

• Experience in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ)

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Ability to communicate fluently in English

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (a plus)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (a plus)
