Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in project effort estimation and timeline delivery.

• Collaborate with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Contribute technical insights to product roadmaps.

• Participate in incident analysis and prioritization activities.

• Assist in optimizing CI/CD processes.

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology provider.

• Work on a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging technologies (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
