Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components following design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Execute unit testing of software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Collaborate actively with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage processes, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Create and sustain customized software solutions for a major European public-sector technology services client.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is an advantage.
