Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components as per design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules.

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in enhancing and supporting CI/CD processes.

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a major public-sector technology services client in Europe.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging frameworks (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred).

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred).
