Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Collaborate actively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.

• Assist in optimizing and supporting CI/CD processes.

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that includes tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Proficiency with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging technologies, such as Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is desirable.
