Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and implement software components in alignment with specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve technical issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in project effort estimation and timeline delivery.

• Actively collaborate with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage processes, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Support and enhance CI/CD workflows.

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology services client.

• Contribute to a tax administration system involving tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong proficiency with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is an advantage.
