Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing activities

• Diagnose and resolve various issues

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in project effort estimation and timeline delivery

• Collaborate with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in incident analysis and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Design and uphold tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system, which includes tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Proficiency with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Strong grasp of testing principles

• Confident communication skills in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous
