Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology services client.

• Execute software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Perform unit testing on software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.

• Collaborate actively with colleagues and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Contribute technical insights to product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Create a tax administration system that encompasses the entire lifecycle of tax declaration processing, tax calculations, and assessments.

• Integrate the system with various external platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Proficient in English communication.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
