Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing activities

• Identify and resolve issues effectively

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project timelines and efforts

• Collaborate with team members and liaise with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage tasks, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes

• Contribute to the development and upkeep of tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology client

• Work on a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and connections with various external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Proficient in Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiar with microservices architecture and container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Skilled in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Strong understanding of testing principles

• Ability to communicate fluently in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
