Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing activities

• Identify and resolve technical issues

• Execute unit testing of software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules

• Collaborate actively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage efforts, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a large European public-sector technology services client

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Proficient communication skills in English

• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous
