Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a major technology service provider in the European public sector.

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing on software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Collaborate with team members and liaise with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.

• Support and enhance CI/CD processes.

• Work on a tax administration system that involves tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integration with various external systems.

• Contribute as part of a project team consisting of more than 20 individuals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient in the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiar with microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Strong grasp of testing principles.

• Capable of communicating confidently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in front-end development with Angular (preferred).

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred).
