Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a prominent technology service provider in the European public sector.

• Develop software components in alignment with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project workloads and delivery schedules.

• Collaborate with team members and liaise with project stakeholders.

• Provide technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage processes, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in optimizing CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to the development of a tax administration system encompassing tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Preferred: experience in Angular front-end development.

• Preferred: proficiency in German or Swiss German.
