Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and perform testing.

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules.

• Collaborate with team members and liaise with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, which include incident analysis and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology services client.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integrations with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
