Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures.

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Collaborate actively with colleagues and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Provide technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector client.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• In-depth experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containers, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging technologies, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous.
