Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a major European client in the public-sector tax administration field.

• Develop software components based on detailed design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and perform testing procedures.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project workloads and delivery schedules.

• Collaborate actively with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Involve in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Work on a comprehensive tax administration system that encompasses the entire lifecycle of tax declaration processing, calculations, and assessments.

• Integrate the system with various external platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Proficient in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging solutions, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is an advantage.
