Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a prominent European public-sector technology service provider.

• Execute software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Carry out unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and establishing delivery timelines.

• Collaborate actively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Participate in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization processes.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to the development of a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

• Collaborate as a member of a project team consisting of over 20 individuals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework.

• Strong expertise in Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of containers, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Proficient in REST/SOAP integrations.

• Familiarity with messaging technologies, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a desirable asset.
