Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on specified design requirements

• Conduct system integration and perform testing procedures

• Identify and resolve technical issues

• Execute unit tests for software components

• Engage in project effort estimation and timeline planning

• Work collaboratively with team members and engage with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD workflows

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology services client

• Assist in the development of a tax administration system that includes tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and external system integrations

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Proficient in Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Experience in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies

• Strong command of English communication

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
