Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing, troubleshoot issues, and resolve challenges.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules.

• Work collaboratively with team members and effectively communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Participate in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Support and enhance CI/CD processes.

• Create and manage tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector client.

• Contribute to a tax administration system involving tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS).

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
