Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing

• Diagnose and resolve issues

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules

• Actively collaborate with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector client

• Work on a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with various external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS)

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ)

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
