Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing activities

• Identify and resolve issues effectively

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in project effort estimation and timeline planning

• Actively collaborate with team members and engage with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Involve in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Strong understanding of testing principles

• Proficient communication skills in English

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus
