Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and create tailored software solutions for a prominent European public-sector technology service provider.

• Develop software components in line with design specifications.

• Execute system integration and testing, diagnose issues, and provide resolutions.

• Conduct unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and defining delivery timelines.

• Collaborate actively with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights to shape product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident analysis and prioritization processes.

• Enhance and support CI/CD workflows.

• Contribute to a sophisticated tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is desirable.
