Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold tailored software solutions for a significant public-sector technology services client in Europe.

• Implement software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Collaborate actively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.

• Support and enhance CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to the development of a tax administration system that encompasses tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and integrations with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Proficiency in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
