Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain tailored software solutions for a major public-sector client in Europe.

• Develop software components in line with provided design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues as they arise.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in project effort estimation and timeline delivery.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

• Contribute technical insights to product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization efforts.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Work on a tax administration system that handles tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient in Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging technologies, such as Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
