Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures.

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing of software components.

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery timeline assessments.

• Collaborate actively with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, which include incident analysis and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Design and sustain customized software solutions for a prominent European public-sector technology services client.

• Play a role in a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Capable of communicating confidently in English.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous.
