Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in alignment with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions

• Execute unit tests for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and defining delivery timelines

• Actively collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights into product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology services client

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

• Collaborate as part of a project team comprising over 20 members

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Proficient with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Capable of communicating confidently in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferable)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferable)
