Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident analysis and prioritization tasks.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Design and maintain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).

• Proficiency in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate confidently in English.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred).

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred).
