Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with established design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing activities

• Identify and resolve technical issues

• Execute unit tests for software components

• Engage in estimating project requirements and delivery schedules

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage processes, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in enhancing and supporting CI/CD processes

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Proficient in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Capable of communicating fluently in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
