Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit tests on software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Work collaboratively with teammates and engage with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Participate in triage activities, including the analysis and prioritization of incidents.

• Assist in supporting and optimizing CI/CD processes.

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Proficient in relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).

• Experienced in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Strong understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is desirable.
