Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a prominent European public-sector technology service provider.

• Execute software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.

• Carry out unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Collaborate with team members and project stakeholders to guarantee efficient and predictable project outcomes.

• Provide technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.

• Support and enhance CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to the development of a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
