Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide resolutions.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules.

• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization activities.

• Assist in optimizing CI/CD processes.

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology services client.

• Contribute to a tax administration system, which includes tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong proficiency in Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging services, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience with Angular front-end development (preferred).

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred).
