Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules.

• Collaborate actively with team members and interact with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in enhancing and supporting CI/CD processes.

• Create and sustain customized software solutions for a major European public-sector technology services client.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that includes tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containers, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems like Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Strong understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is an advantage.
