Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on detailed design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and perform testing.

• Diagnose and address issues effectively.

• Execute unit tests on software components.

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery scheduling.

• Actively collaborate with team members and engage with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in optimizing CI/CD processes.

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies.

• Proficient in English communication.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a bonus.
