Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in line with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing, and troubleshoot to resolve issues.

• Execute unit testing on software components.

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery timeline planning.

• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in optimizing CI/CD processes.

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a large public-sector client in Europe.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Proficient in relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
