Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components following design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems.

• Execute unit testing on software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure efficient and predictable project delivery.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Participate in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Support and enhance CI/CD processes.

• Design and maintain customized software solutions for a major European public-sector software provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong proficiency in Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS).

• Background in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Effective communication skills in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred).

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred).
