Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing

• Identify and resolve issues

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules

• Work collaboratively with team members and interact with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, which include incident analysis and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Proficient in Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containers, such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
