Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and perform testing

• Diagnose and resolve issues

• Execute unit tests on software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and determining delivery timelines

• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization

• Assist in optimizing CI/CD processes

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology services client

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Proficient in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Strong verbal communication skills in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus
