Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit tests for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Provide technical insights to inform product roadmaps.

• Take part in the triage, analysis, and prioritization of incidents.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system encompassing tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Solid experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Strong understanding of testing principles.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous.
