Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Collaborate with team members and interact with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist and enhance CI/CD processes.

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system encompassing tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficient with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred).

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred).
